18 September 1918 Left Peronne by ambulance train & travelled all afternoon
& night.

16 September 1918 Glorious hot sunny day. Slept in hut in Holnon Wood until
about 9 am.
Saw Divl Commander in wood. Went to Bn H.Q. for tea & pow wow. ordered to be in reserve for attack tomorrow.

15 September 1918 Attacked Hindenburg Line as ordered but with only about 35 men as platoons were scattered and could not be found. Very successful attack. Captured about 70 prisoners and many machine guns. Consolidated & ready for counter attack which petered out. Relieved by another unit at night.
