676 – DISTRICT COURT-MARTIAL –

            The detail of Officers as mentioned In Brigade Order No. 653 dated 15^th August, 1915, will re-assemble at the Orderly Room of the 21^st (S) Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers (2^nd Tyneside Scottish.), Musketry Camp, Hornsea, at 10 a.m. for the purpose of trying by District Court-Martial the accused person named in the margin (and such other person or persons as may be brought before them..

The accused will be warned, and all witnesses duly required to attend.

The proceedings will be forwarded to the G.O.C., 102^nd (Tyneside Scottish) Brigade, “Alnbank” Alnwick.

In the margin: – No. 23/327, SERGT. T. KIRSOPP. 23^rd (S) Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers (4^th Tyneside Scottish).

677 – EXTRACTS FROM NORTHERN COMMAND ORDERS–

Defence of the Realm – Lighting in Trains –

20^th August, 1915.

It has been noticed that the order regarding blinds being drawn down in lighted railway trains is, in many cases, not being complied with.

As it is most important that trains should show as little light as possible at night, all ranks should see that the blinds are drawn down in the compartment in which they are travelling.
