5^th July 1915.  Inspection of the Battalion by Brigadier-General Cowper, G.O.C. Poona Divisional Area.

15^th July 1915.  Lieut. E.P. Hardy and the Machine Gun Section proceeded to Satara.

16^th July 1915.  One officer and 26 other ranks proceeded from Kirkee to Bombay as escort to ammunition train.

19^th July 1915.  One officer and 26 other ranks proceeded from Kirkee to Bombay as escort to ammunition train.

31^st July 1915.  “A” and “C” Companies, under the command of Captain J.E.C. Graham, returned to Headquarters.  The Detachment suffered very severely from malaria fever whilst stationed at Kirkee.
