COMMANDING 102nd (TYNESIDE SCOTTISH) BRIGADE.

HEADQUARTERS, ALNWICK,

3rd July, 1915.

462 Divisional Cyclist Company Formation of

            A Cyclist Company is being formed for the 34th Division, to which the 102nd Brigade belongs.  The following volunteers are required from each Battalion:-

20th (S.) Bn. Northumberland Fusiliers (1st Tyneside Scottish).   1        –         2       20

21st (S.) Bn. Northumberland Fusiliers (2nd Tyneside Scottish).   –         1        1       20

22nd (S.) Bn. Northumberland Fusiliers (3rd Tyneside Scottish).   –        1        1        20

23rd (S.) Bn. Northumberland Fusiliers (4th Tyneside Scottish).   –         –        1        20

            The names of the above, who must all be able to ride bicycles, will be furnished to Brigade Headquarters as early as possible.

463 Equipment or Clothing Indents for

            Officers Commanding Units are reminded that “hasteners” should be forwarded to the Chief Ordnance Officer, York, or to Ordnance Officer, Clothing Depot, Carlton Street Store, York, as the case may be, for articles of equipment or clothing required to complete, in order that the Battalions may be completed as far as possible prior to the move of the Brigade to Ripon.
