401 – District Court-Martial –

            The District Court Martial directed to assemble in Brigade Order No. 387 of 5^th June, 1915, will re-assemble at the Orderly Room, 20^th (S.) Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers (1^st Tyneside Scottish), at 10 a.m. on Friday, 11^th June, 1915.

The accused will be warned, and all witnesses duly required to attend.

The proceedings will be forwarded to the G.O.C., 102^nd (Tyneside Scottish) Brigade, “Alnbank” Alnwick.

Officers Commanding 20^th, 21^st, 22^nd, and 23^rd (S.) Battalions Northumberland Fusiliers (1^st 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th Tyneside Scottish), will each detail three Officers to attend for instructional purposes.

402 –Complaints – re Gates –

            Complaints have been received that troops when exercising in some instances have neglected to close gates.  Officers Commanding Units will take special steps to rectify this in future.

403 – Extracts from Northern Command Orders –

The following extracts from the Second Supplement to the “London Gazette” of Friday, the 4^th June, 1915, are published for information:-

The Northumberland Fusiliers –

22^nd Battalion (3^rd Tyneside Scottish). – Wilfred Charles Beardall to be temporary Second Lieutenant.  Dated 7^th January, 1915.

22^nd Battalion (3^rd Tyneside Scottish). – The undermentioned to be temporary Second Lieutenants:-

James Colin Moorwood.  Dated 19^th April, 1915.

Leslie Williams.  Dated 12^th May, 1915.

            The attention of Officers Commanding Units is called to Northern Command Order No. 980 of 9^th June, 1915.

405 – Tents on Charge –

            With reference to Northern Command Order No. 980 of 9^th June, 1915, the tents referred to are those issued by Ordnance Department only.
