258 Cancellation

            Brigade Order No. 254 is hereby cancelled.

259Dress

            Men walking out will wear waist belts without side arms.  Sergeants will wear waist belts with side arms.  When the Great Coats are worn walking out, the waist belt will be worn inside and the Great Coat will be drawn in at the waist by means of the cloth band at the back.

Officers Commanding Units will take steps to prevent men leaving their lines improperly dressed.

The Northumberland Fusiliers

21st Battalion (2nd Tyneside Scottish). – Temporary Major C.J.H. Gardner, from 6th Battalion, Alexandra, Princess of Wales’ Own (Yorkshire Regiment), to be temporary Major.  Dated 15th March, 1915.

Temporary Captain Archibald D.M. Napier, from 17th Battalion (N.E.R. Pioneers), to be temporary Captain.  Dated 2nd February, 1915.
