258 – Cancellation –

            Brigade Order No. 254 is hereby cancelled.

259 – Dress –

            Men walking out will wear waist belts without side arms.  Sergeants will wear waist belts with side arms.  When the Great Coats are worn walking out, the waist belt will be worn inside and the Great Coat will be drawn in at the waist by means of the cloth band at the back.

Officers Commanding Units will take steps to prevent men leaving their lines improperly dressed.

The Northumberland Fusiliers –

21^st Battalion (2^nd Tyneside Scottish). – Temporary Major C.J.H. Gardner, from 6^th Battalion, Alexandra, Princess of Wales’ Own (Yorkshire Regiment), to be temporary Major.  Dated 15^th March, 1915.

Temporary Captain Archibald D.M. Napier, from 17^th Battalion (N.E.R. Pioneers), to be temporary Captain.  Dated 2^nd February, 1915.
