252 – Waterproof Sheets – Indents for –
Officers Commanding Battalions will forward at an early date indents to Chief Ordnance Officer, York, for water proof sheets to complete.
253 – Musketry Appliances and Signalling Equipment –
With reference to Brigade Orders No. 3, 186 (Musketry Appliances) and 223 (Signalling Equipment), Officers Commanding Battalions will be good enough to note that in case the articles indented for are not immediately available, reminders should be forwarded to the Chief Ordnance Officer, York, at short intervals.
Officers Commanding will forward to these Headquarters as early as possible a list of all Musketry Appliances and Signalling Equipment which have been indented for (giving date of indent) but which have not yet been supplied.
254 – Dress –
Men when walking out will wear waist belts without side arms. Sergeants will wear waist belts with side arms. When the Great Coat is worn the waist belt will be worn over the Great Coat.
Officers Commanding Units will take steps to prevent men leaving their lines improperly dressed.
